1983 Jeep J10 Laredo Mostly Original
The original owner lived in Montana and special ordered the truck with the Laredo package, 360 V8 with a block heater, and a 4 speed in the summer of 1982.
He drove it regularly for about a year then retired. He then spent the winters in Arizona while the truck was stored in a heated garage at his house back in
Montana. In 2008 he was no longer able to drive and decided to sell it. He added the aftermarket am/fm cassette player in the 1980s.
Owner2 of Montana purchased the truck on 5/5/2008 and spent a small fortune in getting it back into top shape, receipts for the following work were included
in the glove box:
Replaced the timing cover gaskets, oil pump, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, water pump, flush & fill radiator, intake manifold gasket, valve cover gaskets,
front & rear axle fluid & gaskets, repack front wheel bearings & replace axle seals, repack rear bearings & replace rear seals and install rear brakes, and
change tranny gear oil, new exhaust.
Owner 3 of Saskatchewan (12.5 miles north of the Montana border) purchased the truck on 5/24/2012 with 84,210 miles and sold it within 1000 miles.
I purchased the truck in November 2013 with just over 85,000 miles on it. I replaced the steering box, leaf springs with a 2 inch lift, new Bilstein shocks,
and new 33.12.50 tires – everything else is original.
