72 Jeep J-4000 4x4 project Cummins 1 ton
Photo of complete truck is from when it was purchased before the upgrades started.
3" Hell Creek lift springs, extra leaf added in front for heavier engine. ($700)
Ford Dana 60 front axle (4.11).
Ford Sterling 10.5" Rear (4.11).
NEW 4 wheel disc brakes, all rotors, calipers & pads, brake lines, master cyl, booster and valve. (over $1000)
Rebuilt steering box.
Motor mounts for Cummins 6bt.
Transmission mounts for nv4500 & NP 205 Transfer case.
Original brush guard.
Dura-liner on inner & front fenders and front clip.
Firewall forward has been wire brushed and painted.
It needs shocks to be a complete roller. Steering and brakes are all hooked up.
Cab is in good condition, very little rust except some eat through on drivers floor board (easy fix).
Rocker panels are intact, and the rest of the structure is VERY good.
Doors open and shut very smoothly.
Other than needing window jams, all glass is intact and both window cranks work.
Bed was repaired with some Bondo over dents (previous owner), but no rust through.
Tires are just balding rollers. Rims are off a 99 Expedition.
Original black bench seat not pictured, but I have it.
NEGOTIABLE PARTS:
I currently have a Cummins 12v 6bt Rotary pump engine ($1800-2200) & NP 205 Transfer case ($350) for it.
I also have a complete new wiring harness ($300 range)
JB Fabrication Cable controls for np205 (put them wherever you want) ($250 range)
As just a roller: $4500 obo
Including all "NEGOTIABLE PARTS": $7000 obo
