1968 Kaiser Jeep J-3000 pickup
Preserved, NO rust

Beautifully preserved 1968 Kaiser Jeep J-3000 pickup truck. Just ugly, LOL. Also known as a Gladiator. AMC vigilante 327 V8, that runs but needs help to bring it back to tip top. Manual Trans. It runs, drives, stops. I say beautifully preserved because it is completely rust free. It's been in my possession for about 10 years and has been indoors for 9 of those. I purchased it from California and it looks the same now as it did when I took delivery after a brief Kentucky stay. It is in amazing condition, especially where it counts, the body and frame. The interior has been getting dried up and starting to crack up a little bit. It is however pretty dirty in the pictures. It does not smell like rodents, just dirty. It' s a complete vehicle with the exception of the rear lights and tailgate latches. It previously had a camper on the bed, so it preserves the beds condition. It currently just has an old truck cap to maintain it's completely rust free and dent free bed. There are also some additional dials in the interior related to the camper.
Pictures in this case do not tell the whole story. They do not do it justice. This jeep is in incredible shape and no rust, no rust repairs. What it does have is a peeling, fading and spotty paint job on top of what looks like the original gold/tan paint. Even where there are some small dings, there is no rust forming at all. This is an awesome jeep for a restoration. I should amend the rust free claim, but it only has rust on its tail gate and rear bumper. That is genuinely all for rust. I tried to show the typical places that rust forms, and it is all straight and clean.
Please don't hesitate to ask any and all questions. I am willing to negotiate on the price, but very little at the moment.
**I never registered it in my name and subsequently lost the (certificate of Origen ), so it has no title.
With it's age however, I believe it can be registered with a bill of sale from me, especially if you are buying from a "no title state" regardless of it's age.
This Jeep is a fantastic candidate for a full restore with it's perfectly preserved body and frame, and it's interior that is salvageable and/or fully usable as templates for a restore. I believe all the gauges work as they should. The front end pictures do not show some grill and light parts. I have them all, I removed them as they are easy parts to steal and wanted to protect them.
