1986 AMC Jeep Comanche XLS. This is the earliest known Comanche to exist. It is vin number #831. That is the 831st Jeep built in 1986 of all the models. It is an all original model with 61K miles. It has no rust and spent its whole life in Florida. It has the 2.8 GM V6 motor which was the largest motor you could get that year. The 4.0 did not debut until 1987. It is an automatic on the floor and 2wd. This is the top of the line model and a long bed. It has all original paint, stripes and interior. Sold new at Sanford AMC in Sanford Florida. This was the same combination Jeep that was used in all the early launch ad's for the new Comanche and most of them were made in 2wd to compete with the growing small pickup market. Has the rare and original Jeep bedliner with side rails.
