1972 J4000
fresh from the southwest
Fresh from the southwest, a '72 J4000 that came to me a short time ago ago. The mechanical details are; 1972
J4000 360(bad), 2bbl, T18A four speed, new clutch-not installed, Dana 20 t-case, Dana 60 rear, Dana 44 closed knuckle front, 4.10 axle ratios,
power steering, power drum brakes, AC. It also has a Koenig PTO driven winch. The body and chassis are beautiful! Only some minor repairs
necessary. It looks like it had been pretty well taken care of for most of its life. The razor grill is complete. I do have a better front bumper
in my stash. Tires/wheels are 16" with good tread but are weather checked. There is of course lots of work. Motor,
radiator and related parts have been removed from chassis and are in the bed, very straight rust free body, solid cab floors. If you're looking
for an outstanding J-truck project this a super place to start!
