1968 Jeep Kaiser Gladiator J-3700 Thriftside Long Bed
93,931 miles, believed to be original. Bed was custom-built about five years ago from 16 gauge steel (thicker steel than original). Rebuilt Chevy 350 replaced the original Buick 350. Original TH400 automatic transmission was rebuilt in 2011. B&M floor shifter. Power steering. Transfer case has 2-hi, 4-hi, and 4-low. Warn locking hubs on front wheels. Four-barrel Holley carburetor rebuilt last year. Complete custom-bent dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers installed last year - sounds amazing. HEI ignition. Rear driveshaft and shocks replaced about four years ago. Door locks and latches refurbished. Seat is not original but in decent condition. The rocker panels are pretty rusted out (as always) and there are some other rust spots in the body, but the frame is in great shape, and new floors were welded in. Rear fender corners need to be welded in, radio isn't hooked up, and carburetor still needs some tuning. Paint isn't great, but has unbeatable patina. Comes with an extra set of tires and a spare wheel.
