The Story:

I've owned it since 2014 and though it was running well when I bought it, things can always be better. Over the next year or so I rebuilt the carb, installed power brakes, and upgraded the lift to a BDS 4" kit with Bilstein shocks. I drove the truck regularly for many years and even convinced my wife that this big orange truck should be our getaway car from our wedding. A year later I was using the Jeep as my daily driver for a few months. A year after that, our daughter was born and I didn't drive the truck for over a year. Life changes and though we've made some great memories, it's time for the Jeep to find a new home.

Last week I gave her a good wash and vacuum, and installed a new Optima red-top and took her for a drive to get some good photos. Everything works great. The old 360 fires right up the first time and runs strong. I think the only thing that doesn't work is the tape player...the radio works though. I can't say enough about the running and driving condition of the truck, it's in great shape mechanically. The body has rust in all the usual places though. The previous owner told me that the original owner's grandsons "restored" it in the '90's and apparently didn't do a great job. When I bought the truck, you could tell some rust had been painted-over but it still looked good. Today, the truck still looks good but a few of the rust spots are definitely getting worse and my garage just doesn't allow me to keep the old girl under cover like she needs to be.

Truck is currently registered and insured in NC, title in hand.
