1984 J10 Laredo Short bed
1984 J10 Laredo Short bed. This truck
has less than 58K original miles. I am the third owner of this truck. I
bought it from a friend of mine who had it. He was on the board of the bank
that had originally financed this truck new-well the buyer defaulted and the
bank repossessed it and he bought it. At any rate he drove and used it until
it quit running. It sat at his house for 3-4 years not driven sitting
outside-so the need for restoration. The truck is beautiful and I pretty
much kept everything original. It has custom wheels and tires, the truck was
taken down to the frame and we went from there. The only thing I am missing
is my front chrome bumper (I sent it to be rechromed and that was in
October-ithink they may have ruined it so I need a front bumper most
likely). I have a chrome stepside rear bumper that is in decent condition
just have not put it on yet. I may have a custom chrome bumper made for it.
Too many details on everything that was done but the major things are as
follows:
1. frame off restoration, body work, repaint
2. All interior completely reupholstered
3. Bed is flawless has been rhino lined
4. Custom eagle chrome wheels with new maxis 265/75R16 tires
5. Alpine head unit with remote (I still have factory radio just
Wasn't working
6. Complete new transmission/torque converter with warranty
7. Engine is original 360 with a few modifications: Hedeman
ceramic headers,turbo dual exhaust, cam job, replaced the two barrel with
A new edelbrock 4 barrell and edelbrock intake,Sounds great and runs nicely
8. New motors on power windows
9. New OEM carpet
10. All brakes completely rebuilt
11. Four wheel drive operates perfectly
And much more..... I hate to sell this truck its special to me ,but I have a
new business and all toys must go. I have all receipts, details of the
truck. I also had it appraised and the appraisal came back at 32,500.00.
It would be nice it we could get appraisal for it but that's not reality. It
will take 20K cash to won the truck not a cent less. I can arrange for pu
and delivery for a minimal fee my cousin owns and operates a transport
