1977 Jeep J20 pick-up truck
My husband died in 2000 and left me with a 1977 Jeep J20 pick-up truck. I thought it would be useful to have a truck in the family but it hasn't been used since that time.
We had trouble with it not running dependably. We replaced an electrical part and fuel filter but nothing worked. The last opinion was that it needed the fuel tanks to be removed and cleaned. That is something my sons don't have time to do. I replaced the battery twice, also. It has a short somewhere that keeps draining the battery when not in use. We have to disconnect it.
Other than that, it has rusted brake lines and floor boards and some on the body. It is also liberally sprinkled with pine sap.
It is a strong truck we used to pull our camping trailer. My husband was confident it could go anywhere. He used the winch to pull out bushes and small trees and a boat up a hill. We even pulled the truck up a muddy hill with it. He pulled cars out of snow banks and ditches.
This is all the information I have about it and the special things he ordered when he bought it. $1200 or best reasonable offer.
