1984 J10 For Sale

The Jtruck is up for sale. It's a 1984 J10 I picked up about a 1 1/2 ago in AL. Short bed, 4 speed. I installed a '91 4.0 ltr with a new fuel injection harness and correct 'puter. Also is a hydroboost unit brake from Elliott. Old Warn lockouts and stock 2.73 axle gearing. New Parts: Complete exhaust, water pump, battery, alternator, distributor, fuel injector o-rings, motor mounts, coil, plugs, wires, and radiator. I still have a brand new tranny mount, and new rubber / flex hoses for the front and rear connections. Also new is all the door rubber, window wipes/felt, windshield gasket, cowl gasket and hood bump stoppers. Front turn signal buckets and lenses. I put a 2004 TJ fuel tank and bump in the under bed spare tire location, along with the TJ fuel pump and send unit. I have a fuel gauge for that tank, but it's not fully wired. There are three toggle switches, one is for the head lights that are in place of the Gladiator faux vent covers, the second is for the reverse light mounted on the rear bumper. The third is for the transfer pump from the stock fuel tank to the TJ fuel tank. Tires are in good condition, Co-Op Sur Grips. Dog dish hubcaps, The Trucker mirrors I got from an older Gladiator, and they polish up real well. The can was converted to a Gladiator small window for the old school look, along with the rhino grill up front. I made filler pieces on the valance for the rhino conversion so it has a better look to it. The dash has been smoothed and painted, all holes filled. It needs a cigar lighter, and the knob for the wipers is loose/off. There rear main seal on the 4.0 ltr leaks a tad, and the Hydroboost unit leaks a little. The truck came with A/C but the compressor on the 4.0ltr needs replaced and custom hoses need to be made to connect to the Jtruck unit (not a big deal). Gladiator radio delete (do you really need a radio on one of these classics?). I have an in-bed spare tire mount, but it's not mounted. Runs good. Bed has been lined along with cab floor in red, smooth, Durbak bed liner, roll on. I made the rear bumper with license plate light and reverse light. I also am/was in the midst of making a winch mount to mount inside the front frame rails, with pushing the front bumper out about 4-5". I'll include those pieces with the truck. I have a factory spare steel wheel that needs painting, but no tire mounted. She runs well, drives straight, doesn't wander or pull, no bumps, knocks or rattles. There is probably stuff I forgot, so just ask. The pics are from this spring/summer, note sans front turn signals. I tried taking some pics tonight, but by the time I got home; they came out too dark. Truck was completed re-painted, inside and out. It isn't a show queen, but a nice looker. Truck is located in NE Ohio, about 1/2 hour SE of Cleveland. Price, well, I'm thinking around $6,000.00. I'm not trying to make a killing on it, believe me. It's not that I really want to sell it, I just try to limit myself to one vehicular toy at a time... And yes, my wife thinks I'm crazy, her reaction was: "What!?!?, but you love that truck?, all the work you've done?" Mike 440-708-0565
