1978 Jeep J10
Up for sale is a 1978 Jeep J10. Next year at college is going to be a little tight so figured Id try to get some cash for it or if not just keep it and rebuild it ground up when I'm setting better financially. It is a 1/2 ton short box, the jeep itself is grey with a grey and black interior. I bought it from a kid who needed the money last year and I've just been finding bits and pieces to add since then. It originally had a 401 BB, manual trans. That was gone when I bought it and it now runs a chevy 350 small block and a Turbo 350 trans mated to a np205 transfer-case. The motor has had a fair amount of work done to it, I bought this from another friend its a 4 bolt main small block with a stock crank and to my knowledge stock pistons, its stuffed with a 292 degree comp extreme 4x4, wieland Team G single plane intake, 650 cfm edelbrock carb with spacer, HEI Accel distributer, finned holly valve covers, high flow oil pump, new starter and flex plate as of 5/25/10, dynamax full length headers that run through 3'' pipe to afterburner mufflers.... I'll fill in the rest if you have a question you can email me. A while before I bought it someone swapped axles with a Jeep J20 so its an 8 lug pattern dana 60 limited slip rear, and a HD dana 44 front. To my knowledge it has about 9 to 10 inches of lift thanks to a spring over, rancho 4 inch lift springs in front, remounted perches in the rear, and 3 inches of body lift. Im not sure what kind of wheels they are got them from another friend, I do know they are new 16.5 maybe eagle alloys? they're wrapped with goodyear military OZ bias plys... talk about a gnarly tire. They have about 6000 miles on them, so basically new. The interior has a set of bucket seats out of a cop car that was totaled aftermarket add in gauges. This is a great truck and would be even better if someone has more time for it than me. Very minimal rust in usual Jeep places mostly surface. Has about a 2 week old Ultimate Linings bed-liner sprayed professionally at a dealership here in Sheridan along with a brand-new diamond plate tool box both of those combined were about $900! Its been a reliable daily driver so far this year! Talk about a truck that will go anywhere. Just remember its a Jeep, expect to work on it. As of now everything works great but a few lights and 3 of the factory gauges, thats where the aftermarket ones come in. I'm asking $1500 obo. Serious Inquires only I dont need to sell this but id like to, I have lots of hours in it and more money than I'm selling it for.
