1962 Willys 4x4 Truck

1962 Willys 4x4 Truck. Original paint, 31,000 original miles - only about 100 miles on the new drivetrain. 

This truck just went through a total drivetrain restoration. All work was performed by Bones Fab in Camarillo and was 
completed 2 weeks ago. I kept the drivetrain original but upgraded a few items for safety and reliability. This truck 
runs better than any original Willys truck out there - real head turner. 

Below is the recently completed work: 

Newly rebuilt 226 in-line 6 "Super Hurricane" motor 
New alternator 
New fuel pump 
New radiator (core) 
Rebuilt carb 
New hoses 
New disc brakes up front 
Rebuilt drum brakes in rear 
New brake lines 
New dual master cylinder 
New electronic ignition 
New Magnaflow exhaust 
New Saturn Overdrive for freeway cruising speeds 
New E brake 
Rebuilt/replaced driveshafts - balanced and new universals front and rear 
Ignition kill switch installed to prevent theft 

The body has the original paint. Everything works - heater, fan, defrost, lights, etc. If you're looking for a restoration 
project - this is it. All the tricky work has been done already and all that's left is cosmetic. I had no intention on 
repainting - the original paint is a little dull but gives it a cool vibe I've always enjoyed. 

The 4 wheel drive works great, no issues. This truck will climb almost anything in 4wheel low-range. Vintage 4 wheeling on 
the local mountain's fire roads is a blast in this truck - it's like a time capsule. I have the original owners manual 
(and a reprint copy) and a vintage service shop manual. 

This truck is ready to go. Drive it around town, drive it to work, drive it to the east coast -- it will make it, no problem.
