1977 JEEP HONCHO PICK UP W/LEVI INTERIOR
1977 Jeep Honcho pick up w/Levi interior that my late husband had restored with all original parts... He kept a huge file on the work that has been done which I have on this vehicle.
When we first bought it my husband had an extra gas tank added as we were traveling a bit. It is switch over type so when the main tank gets low, you switch over the
extra tank and can drive over twice longer than with just the regular tank.
My husband had the Jeep at Classic Automobile Restoration & Service in Watertown, MN for about 10 years (1990-2000) before
he had it shipped out here to Montana. We moved to Montana in 1996. I believe the reason it was there was that it took time to find original parts
for it. I do have his file on it and it shows that he spent over $30,000 to restore it. And, it has been stored in our garage and then our shop.
It was last driven in 2008 when he moved it from the garage over to the shop. It looks new and is darn cute. He loved that Jeep and wanted to keep
it as a true classic. The engine is a 360 AMC, 4 barrel holly carb., turbo 400 automatic transmission. I believe there was a turn wheel in the glove
box to switch over to four wheel drive.
