1967 M-715 1 1/4 ton Jeep

1967 M-715 1 1/4 ton jeep. Started out as an ambulance for the Marine Corp. Changed over to a brush breaking personnel and water carrier by a Mich. volunteer fire dept. I have had it in my shop for the past five years and driven it less than 1,000 miles. It's gotta go, I need the floor space. The odometer reads 21,166. I have purchased and installed a new water pump, had all the brake lines replaced, changed all the fluids in the differentials, gear boxes, and of course the engine. Recently I replaced all four tires with Goodyear 9.00 x 16, 8 ply heavy duty super hi-milers. These tires really smoothed out the ride and dramatically increased handling characteristics on hard pavement. The seats are from a late model Buick and are adjustable. I recently replace both of the 12 volt batteries and this truck starts with 1/2 a crank. There are no oil leaks at all. Engine idles with oil pressure at 35 pounds and rises to the 50 pound level under load. The brush breaker frame is 2 inch welded steel piping with heavy duty welded steel screen.. The lights on the all steel cab roof light up the night. You could play football under them. There is an additional spotlight on the stern of the truck that is exceptionally bright. There is light surface rust on the frame if at all. The floors of the cab are rust free and tight. The doors are all steel and the windows work freely. The rear window is glass. The cab inside height is 5 ft and two inches. The bed is aluminum diamond plate over 3/4 inch plywood and measures eight feet by 5 feet 8 inches. The walls of the bed are both steel inside and out. The rear step/bumper is steel C beams and welded wire. In traffic no one will pull out in front of you unless they have a death wish---my friends here call this the finest urban assault vehicle you can buy.
