1968 Jeep Gladiator
J3800 Dually

Selling my 1968 Jeep Gladiator Custom Cab dually. Factory 8,600lb GVW dually that was converted to a chassis mount camper when new. The frame was stretched 34" and it rides on a 160" wheel base. The camper is long gone and I mounted a 12' Reading flat bed on it.

It's one of approximately 50 made with the Dauntless 350.

This truck has many original factory options including: Dauntless V8, PS, PB, posi, Lock-O-Matic hubs, tinted glass, bucket seat interior, Custom Cab package, HD charging, parking brake warning lamp etc.

Currently on the road and I drive it regularly. Thinning down my Jeep collection so I can focus on my favorites.

This truck has a rebuilt motor, new tires (7.50-16 bias), all new brake lines, fuel lines, brake shoes/hardware, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, power steering hoses, rebuilt carb, all new ignition components (except the distributor), re-cored radiator, headlamps, parking brake cable, headlamp switch, alternator, king pins and seals, wheel hub seals, all brake hoses, gas tank, sending unit and many other little things.

Odometer shows 25K miles on it, and I have seen nothing to make me believe that it has rolled over. There is no wear on any of the drums or seal surfaces.

It currently needs a heater core (leaks) and I have one that was pressure tested to go with it.

The bed needs a little rust work. Nothing major. I replaced 4 cross members and it has new 7" channel sill beams. Has ply wood down now, needs wood.

Cab has rust. Needs floor and rocker work. Also has some rust in the roof. Still a savable cab. Nose is pretty solid.

Very rare truck with some rare options. Probably a 1 of 1 built considering the bucket seats. Great running and driving truck.

Has HD custom made rear 2" receiver and D rings. Just needs a 7 pin plug wired up (has junction box on inside of frame above axle for an easy connection).
