1981 J10 Long Bed

1981 Jeep J10, 6 cylinder, 4wd, Long bed, 146,613 miles. I bought this Jeep this past July. My plans were to make this my new project - Larger tires, Lift kit and so on. However, a few months later, I came across a 47 Willys (which I have always wanted). So now that I have the Willys, I do not have the time or the space for the J10. Even more of a reason, with another vehicle - the wife says something has got to go.

This is a good solid truck. It runs fine. The fella I bought it from had told me it would eventually need a new clutch. This is accurate. It is still quite drivable, but it will need a new clutch in the near future. It has a few leaks, here and there (about what you would expect from a 37 yoa vehicle). The frame and body are both in very good shape. There are only really two minor rust spots on the body - one above the driver's side front wheel and the other behind the passenger's side front wheel. The truck is originally from the southwest (I have a Carfax report on it) which is probably why there is so little rust. I reupholstered the seat and installed a new vinyl floor liner. This is a good truck as is or a good platform for a resto/mod. I do have a current clean title.
