1962 Jeep FC-170

So, I bought this truck with the intention of doing a drivetrain swap. But after going through all the paper work I was given and looking at posts on the forums I have decided that it is in too good of condition to chop up and needs to go to someone who will restore it and not rod it out. It starts, runs, and stops perfectly, in fact I drive it every weekend. It is currently tagged, registered in Georgia as an antique, insured, and has a clean title in my name. There was an article in Hemmings Motor News on this truck where it states it spent its life as a New England forestry vehicle which is where I assume the hydraulic lift bed was installed. There is an overdrive unit installed but no shift mechanism. I have the shifter assembly that came with it but that will need to be modified to work. I have also installed a 12v wiper motor. This truck is in great shape and I will only sell it to someone who will give it the resto it deserves. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
